We live in Newcastle and are avid hobby farmers, raising French Alpine dairy goats (and yes, I milk everyday!) I raise chickens for eggs and a pet Dexter steer . Dozer is the bovine darling of Loomis Basin and Newcastle foothills.  He is a hobby steer, having been in parades , at special events and is broke to ride for  pleasure riding.

I love to exercise and eat well and as part of  a cancer survivor plan, have humorously and shame-lessly pursued the study and performance of drumming and percussion. Currently, Country Rock  drumming is my focus.  There is always deep appreciation for great music of all styles and it's healing properties!

On a more personal note, my interests  are varied and in alignment with my pursuit of a stimulating and reasonably balanced life. Maybe we have some activities in common.  My husband and I are the proud parents of 4 fine young men and a lovely dog we have adopted from NorCal Aussie Rescue.
In her own words: Since the early 1970's I have pursued a passionate interest in holistic wellness.  I have applied therapeutic touch and emotional stress counseling principles toward helping hundreds of clients. I understand what people want and need to restore balance, reduce stress and control pain. In my career as a massage and bodywork professional, I have been delighted to find that the simple application of Tom Bowen's bodywork has expedited my clients  healing and symptom relief quicker and with longer lasting results than just massage alone.

My studies of Tom Bowen's Bodywork began with Podiatrist, Dr. Mitchell Mosher, and continued with instruction by Bruce Dodds, Bowen Therapist of more than15 years in Newcastle, Ca.   Taking my dedication to Tom Bowen's work seriously, I decided to become trained with The Bowen Academy of Australia/USA which is world renown for it's professional education.   I have successfully completed the 6 Module levels at the BowTech Academy.

Recent on going education has been with Albert La Shelle , one of the original Bowen Therapists in this country.  Albert worked closely with his cousin ,Milton Albright, of Auburn, Ca. in helping to establish Bowen Therapy in North America 20 years ago.

Because I am dedicated to delivering the best of Bowen and other relevant myo-fascial techniques, I have committed to the Advanced Training by Christine Jones, at the Bowen Method Center in Fair Oaks, Ca.  I am blessed to have received instruction from so many dedicated and accomplished Bowen Therapists and organizations and look forward to passing the wealth of knowledge and experience on to my clients!
